TEAM BUILDING WITH LEGO SERIOUS PLAY
.
.
WHAT IS LEGO SERIOUS PLAY?
.
LEGO Serious Play is a methodology for facilitating group processes and problem-solving that uses LEGO bricks to stimulate participants’ creativity, communication and collaboration.
.
The approach is based on constructionist learning theory, which suggests that people build their knowledge and understanding of the world through sensory experience and interaction with their physical environment. By using LEGO bricks to build physical models representing ideas, concepts and situations, participants can explore and express ideas in a playful, collaborative way.
.
LEGO Serious Play is used in many fields – including business, education, healthcare, community development and government institutions – to help participants tackle complex challenges and make informed decisions. The methodology is research-based and was developed in partnership between LEGO and experts in learning and organisational development.
